At Ebersole Environmental Center, located in Wayland, MI, there are numerous activities and facilities available for visitors throughout the year. Operated by the Lansing School District, the center serves as a venue for retreats, youth camps, and educational classes.

Recently, the center underwent some exciting developments. Two new cabins were constructed, each measuring 20’x28′. These cabins feature a spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a full bathroom. Additionally, a new mechanical shed was built to house the upgraded fire suppression system. The student’s dormitory also underwent renovations, including improved privacy between bunks and updated finishes and electrical features. To enhance the overall experience, a new pavilion and amphitheater were installed, complete with a stone fireplace for cozy gatherings regardless of the weather. Furthermore, the cabins are now connected via an ADA-compliant sidewalk, ensuring accessibility for all visitors.
